Arsenal 3 Hull 2
Valiant Hull City were denided their chance at FA Cup glory when Arsenal's Aaron Ramsey caught a late winner in an engrossing game worthy of the two teams battling it out in this gripping final.
Hull took an early lead in the game with James Chester scoring after only 4 minutes and Curtis Davies put the under-dogs in heaven by making it 2-0 in the 8th minute. The Arsenal machine weren't going to let the game slip from so easily though and overall Arsenal were just too strong for Hull.
The Arsenal comeback started in the 17th minute with Santa Cazorla the scorer and then in the 71st minute theequaliser came from Laurent Koscielny.
Hull didn't back down though and although the early goals had caught Arsenal off guard a little, their comeback certainly wasn't all one sided as Hull fought a tough match and kept Arsenal in check for much of the game and under the most pressure for a fair bit of it.
As extra time was played, it was all or nothing for both teams and it took until the 19th minute of extra time (109 minutes of the match) when Aaron Ramsey finally managed to let the Gunners get in the lead with a quick goal from Giroud's backheel pass.
That was the end for Hull though as time was just running out too fast. A brave effort against the favourites and a tough, exciting match from both teams but the class out Arsenal won out in the end.
