John Terry is to stay at Chelsea for at least another year under a new agreement signed with the club. The Captain will continue to play at Stamford Bridge until 2015.
Terry's deal was due to expire this summer but the 33 year old has committed another year to the team, making it his 20th with the club.
Since joining John Terry has been in the Premier League winning side 3 times, Champions League in 2012, Europa League in 2013, 5 times FA Cup winners and was crowned “Player of the Year” in 2005.
Terry has reported said that he's delighted to have extended his contract with Chelsea and was full of praise for the Manager, Jose Mourinho, team and fans.
John Terry has made 621 appearances for Chelsea, his first after appearing at senior level aged just 17 for a game with Aston Villa in 1998. A League Cup game that Chelsea won decisively 4-1.
Apart from a stint with Notts Forest on loan in 1999, Terry has played continually for Chelsea and has scored 34 times for the team.
