Rangers Win the Scottish Cup Final |

The 2009 Scottish Cup Final was contested today in the blistering heat of Hampden between, SPL Winners, Rangers and Falkirk.
Both teams started the match on a high after events of last weekend which saw Rangers lift the SPL title and Falkirk beating Inverness Caledonian Thistle on the last day of the league season but it was Rangers who captured the title. |

Celtic Victorious in CIS Cup Final |

After a slow start to the game Celtic took the upper hand in the first 45 minutes making some opportunities but they weren't able to capitalise on them. Both teams, however, had some decent chances and it was a deserved result so far. The second half of the 90 minutes saw an increased determination from both sides with the first part of the second half giving Rangers the edge over Celtic but by the end of the 90 minutes both teams were fairly evenly matched. The full 90 minutes resulted with both teams failing to score and we were into extra time with a goalless draw. |

CIS Cup Final - Celtic v Rangers |

The first Glasgow Derby Cup Final takes place this afternoon when Celtic take on Rangers at Hampden for the CIS Cup. Gordon Strachan is staying upbeat about the final and is confortable even if it goes all the way to a penalty shoot-out, something the two Scottish football giants have never come across in a cup final game. The teams, at the moment, are very well matched and are both competing for the SPL League title in what is set to be a nail-biting final few matches with both teams very much in contention. With the closeness of both teams abilities at the moment, you can never rules out a penalty shootout but both Managers will be desperately wanting to clinch the title before that happens. |
