Macedonia Slam Scotland Before their Qualifying Game

With the qualifier coming up in three days after the transfer deadline Scotland faces a must win match against Macedonia on Saturday September 5th at Hamden.  

The two teams who are not strangers to one another, the two teams clashed on the field last year.  Macedonia defeated Scotland 1-0 at Skopje during the opening of the World Cup 2010 South Africa qualifier last year.

Roma in store for Ranieri

After having a losing season and being released by Juventus in May, Claudio Ranieri has found a new home in Roma.  Ranieri is set to take over the Roma club after manager Luciano Spalletti resigned and Roma brought Ranieri to start a new system there to help bring an Italian Cup to the club.

“Mr. Chelsea” John Terry inks 5 year deal with Chelsea
 
The rumors that were speculated about John Terry being sold to Man City are officially marked as false rumors.  The Englishman, who has played over 275 games and has made 17 goals in his career for Chelsea is staying with the club. 

The reported 5 year deal that Terry signed gives the center-back a weekly salary of £150,000 per week.  Man City had offered Terry a weekly salary of £200,000 per week but failed to sign the center-back due to his commitment to Chelsea.
